There have been many articles about using Echinacea as an immune booster.
Echinacea can be a powerful enhancement to an immune building program. Unfortunately, like so many things in life, it is not that simple. Not all Echinacea is the same. You have probably heard of Echinacea (E) Angustifolia, E Purpurea, and E. Pallida. There are more but these are pretty common here. They have different actions on immune function. Often manufacturers don’t list the specifics or what part of the plant is being used. Did you know that it is actually the ROOT that has the powerful benefits, not the leaves. So how do you know if your Echinacea is actually working to improve your immune system? Taste it. If your tongue tingles, you are experiencing the effective compounds from the root of the plant. Then check your label. Is it a single type of Echinacea or a combination of E. Angustifolia and E.Purpurea, creating the maximum amount of support. We have seen some quite profound results from it and wouldn’t use anything else. Please let us know if you have any questions and Stay healthy!
